SystemMessage Property

Persistent system prompt applied to every chat request.

Remarks

When not empty, the value is prepended as a system role message on every Chat or ChatStream request. OpenAI, DeepSeek, Ollama, Grok and Mistral receive it as a system message in the messages array; Anthropic exposes it through the top-level system field; Gemini exposes it through system_instruction. Use ChatWithSystem for one-off system prompts that must not overwrite this value.
