IncludeConfidence Property

Asks the model for a confidence value per extracted field.

Syntax

property IncludeConfidence: Boolean read FIncludeConfidence write FIncludeConfidence default True;

Default Value

True

Remarks

When True the answer schema gets a confidence array and the model is asked to add one item per extracted leaf field, with the field path (for example total or lines[0].amount) and a value between 0 and 1. The values are read into LastResult.FieldConfidences, the lowest one becomes LastResult.Confidence and every field under MinConfidence raises OnLowConfidence.

The confidence is the self assessment of the model, not a calibrated probability. Use it to route documents to a human review, not as proof that a value is right. Set IncludeConfidence to False to get a smaller answer; LastResult.Confidence is then 1.

Example

oExtractor.IncludeConfidence := False;
