The component always tells the model to extract only what is visible, to use null for missing or unreadable values, to write dates in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD) and to write amounts as JSON numbers. A preset adds its own instructions. Use Instructions for anything specific to your documents, for example how to name a field or which of two dates to take. The text is appended after the built in rules under an "Additional instructions" heading.
