TsgcQUICClient › Properties › SSLQUIC
Enables the TLS 1.3 secure layer that QUIC requires.
property SSLQUIC: Boolean read FSSLQUIC write FSSLQUIC;
Boolean
True (set by the component constructor)
QUIC mandates TLS 1.3 (RFC 9001), so SSLQUIC is enabled by default and should be left as True. The certificate and peer verification details are configured through SSLQUICOptions. The handshake is performed as part of opening the connection, before OnQUICConnect fires. ALPN is not configurable, the client always advertises h3.
Setting it to False routes the client through the raw QUIC packet path without the TLS handler. That path is intended for internal testing against the custom engine and will not interoperate with a real QUIC server, since a QUIC endpoint that cannot complete a TLS 1.3 handshake is not a valid QUIC endpoint. Leave the property alone unless you are exercising the transport in isolation.
In .NET the property exists and defaults to True for API parity, but it is never read: System.Net.Quic always secures the connection.
