TsgcQUICClient › Properties › Active

Active Property

Opens or closes the QUIC connection to the remote server.

Syntax

property Active: Boolean read FActive write SetActive;

Default Value

False

Remarks

Setting Active to True opens the QUIC connection to Host and Port, and setting it to False closes it. Reading the property returns whether the connection is currently open. Setting Active := True is the property-based equivalent of calling Connect, use Connect instead when you need the boolean result that reports whether the connection succeeded.

Example

oClient := TsgcQUICClient.Create(nil);
oClient.Host := 'www.example.com';
oClient.Port := 443;
oClient.Active := True;
