Registered marks the features that are in the Registered and Trial editions and not in the free Community edition. ~ marks a feature that Community has in part, with the difference below it.

Every row links to its help topic. The Community column shows what the free .NET Community edition includes; everything is in Registered and Trial.

FeatureDetailsCommunityHelp
Crosshair, tooltip, zoom and panCrosshair, tooltip, wheel zoom, box zoom and pan.Help
AnnotationsText, line, horizontal and vertical lines, rectangle, horizontal band and a callout anchored to a data point or to the newest point. Annotations follow the theme and high contrast, and screen readers read them.Help
Runtime chart editorEnd users edit the titles, the legend, the axes and the series (colour, visibility, smoothing and the type within compatible series) at run time. ShowEditor on VCL, FireMonkey, WinForms and WPF, ShowEditorAsync on Avalonia.Help
Chart designerFor a TsgcChartTableLink, the editor adds a Data page: chart type (clustered, stacked or 100% stacked column, line, area, pie, donut or combo), series from columns or rows, top N, the pie series, data labels, the grand totals of a pivot and the series type and axis of each combo measure. sgcVCLShowChartDesigner, sgcFMXShowChartDesigner, ShowDesigner and ShowDesignerAsync. Right to left (Arabic and Hebrew)The title, legend, tooltips, toolbar and range selector are mirrored. The plot area and its axes stay left to right by default, as in Excel; MirrorPlot reverses the category axes and moves the value axes to the right.Help
AccessibilityExposed to UI Automation with the title, axes, legend, series and data points, each point with its category and value, and a generated text alternative. The arrow keys move from point to point and from series to series, the focus ring is always visible and Windows high contrast is followed with system colours, line patterns and markers. Data Sources

FeatureDetailsCommunityHelp
Manual, CSV and JSONTsgcChartDataSource_Manual, _CSV and _JSON.Help
DataSetTsgcChartDataSource_DataSet plots any TDataSet.Help
Live dataset bindingLive follows posts, deletes, inserts and filters through a TDataLink, throttled. FollowCursor moves the focused point as the user scrolls the dataset, and ExtraFields feeds the size, low, quartile or kind columns. In .NET, Live follows the changes of a DataTable.Help
TableTsgcChartDataSource_Table plots an in-memory table, for example the rows of an sgcGrid.Help
Series in XAML (.NET)TsgcWpfChartSeries and TsgcAvaloniaChartSeries elements inside the chart declare each series with ItemsSource, SeriesKind and the member paths XMember, YMember, OpenMember to CloseMember, VolumeMember and LabelMember, and every one of them takes a binding. In WPF the filter and the sort of the collection view apply. The binding is one way: the chart reads the items and never writes to them.Help
Collections from code and the WinForms designer (.NET)TsgcChartDataSource_Items binds a series to an ObservableCollection<T>, a BindingList<T>, a List<T>, a DataTable or a DataView. In WinForms, TsgcWinFormsChartSeries components declare the series through the BindingContext of the form, edited in the Visual Studio designer with a smart tag on .NET Framework and on .NET 8 or later. An empty chart shows a sample line of 30 points in the Visual Studio designer and in the WPF and Avalonia previewers, and a declared series without data shows sample points of its kind: a line, candles or categories. The sample is never saved in the form or the XAML.Help
Live feedsThe sgcChartsWS bridge adds Binance market streams, MQTT topics, WebSocket JSON and Server-Sent Events. Each source hooks the client event and restores the previous handler when stopped.RegisteredHelp

Export and Server Rendering

FeatureDetailsCommunityHelp
PNG and SVG exportSaveToPNG and SaveToSVG on the view.Help
Headless rendererTsgcChartRenderer renders PNG and SVG with no window, also in a Windows service and on Linux64.Help
Printing and print previewPrint and ShowPrintPreview print one page per chart with its series, axes, titles and legend, without the crosshair, the tooltip and the zoom rectangle. PrintSettings sets the paper, orientation, margins, scaling, header and footer once for the printer, the preview and the PDF. In every edition, on VCL, FireMonkey, WinForms, WPF and Avalonia (FireMonkey prints on Windows and macOS).Help
Accessible PDF export, PDF/UA and PDF/A (with sgcPDF)ExportToPDF writes the chart as vector graphics with real text and an alternative text built from the title, the series, the point counts and the axis ranges. The file is a tagged PDF/UA document by default, and PDFALevel adds PDF/A-2a or PDF/A-3a. Needs the sgcUIPDF bridge and a licensed sgcPDF (esegece.sgcUICore.sgcPDF in .NET).RegisteredHelp
