What You Get in the Trial

  • sgcNavigation with every feature, including the Action links
  • Every other sgcUI product, from sgcGrid to sgcSpreadsheet
  • The VCL and FireMonkey packages for Delphi 7 to 13, and C++ Builder headers and libraries
  • A notice that it is a trial version after the trial period, nothing else changes

Three Steps to a Running sgcNavigation

Install the trial, run a demo, then drop sgcNavigation on your own form.

Install

Run the sgcUI trial installer. It registers the packages, and the components appear on the SGC Navigation page of the tool palette.

Open a demo

Open SidebarApp from the Demos\Navigation folder and run it: click the items, press Collapse and switch the theme.

Drop the component

Drop a TsgcVCLNavigationBar on your main form, leave Align at alLeft, add items in the Items editor and handle OnSelectionChange.

Run the sgcNavigation Demos

NavigationShellFMX

Registered only NavigationShellFMX

A complete navigation shell for FireMonkey, for Delphi only: a tree with a search row, a tab per opened page, a breadcrumb that follows the tree and a command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P) over the items of the bar and an action list.

Registered only NavigationShell

The same shell for the VCL, with a small ribbon whose commands also show up in the command palette. In the .NET edition it ships as NavigationShell for WinForms, NavigationShellWpf and NavigationShellAvalonia.

DockingShell

Registered only DockingShell and DockingShellFMX

An IDE style shell built on the docking manager, for the VCL and for FireMonkey: an Explorer tree on the left, Properties on the right, Output auto hidden at the bottom and documents with pinned and modified tabs in the centre. Drag panels to the drop guides or float them, and the layout is saved to JSON on close. In the .NET edition it ships as DockingShell for WinForms, DockingShellWpf and DockingShellAvalonia.

SidebarApp

SidebarApp

A sidebar that drives a page control with hidden tabs, with icons, a badge, a disabled item, a Collapse button, a theme combo and an sgcDashboard KPI page. Proves the application shell pattern end to end.

Accordion

Registered only Accordion

Three groups, Sales, Inventory and Admin, an AllowMultiExpand toggle, Action links and a click log. It uses Action links, so it needs the Registered or Trial edition.

TabbedForm and TabbedFormFMX

A browser style window with the tabs in the title bar, for the VCL and for FireMonkey, with C++ Builder twins: a new tab button, close buttons and a theme selector with light, dark, Fluent light and Fluent dark. Drag a tab off the strip and it opens in a new window that follows the pointer, then drop it on the title bar of another window. Tear-off needs the Registered edition. In the .NET edition it ships as TabbedForm for WinForms, TabbedFormWpf and TabbedFormAvalonia.

SidebarFMX

The sidebar demo built with TsgcFMXNavigationBar for FireMonkey, for Delphi only. The same items, modes and events as the VCL version, ready for Windows, macOS and mobile targets.
